Vintro Founder Noor Sugrue, currently a freshman at The University of Chicago, says:
“Great ideas can come from anyone, anywhere in the world. But an idea dies without the right resources. Now everyone can have guaranteed, direct access and engagement from the world’s most important leaders. They always said it was about ‘who you know’ as much as ‘what you know’ - we didn’t think that was fair - so we fixed it.”

One summer, my grandmother taught me how to make dolls out of old pillowcases. My favorite creation had blue button eyes, bright red lips, and long rainbow hair made of yarn. When my grandmother saw the doll, her face lit up with pride. She immediately suggested I sell them in the neighborhood and told me where to find more pillowcases in the basement. My dad jumped right in and told me how to make cardboard templates to speed up production, while my mom started throwing out marketing ideas. At the time, I was a shy seven-year-old, so needless to say, this side hustle never took off. But entrepreneurship was never far from my mind.
Flash forward to 2017. I am sitting in my aunt’s living room over the holidays watching Shark Tank with my family. While we were fixated on who would get an offer, I started thinking about all the entrepreneurs that didn’t make it on the show. There must have been some great ideas that never saw the light of day!
I wondered, what if anyone with an idea could get in front of the right people who could help bring it to life?
